Travelling By The Moon is the story of a journey round the earth. A journey seen through the eyes of an anarchist and guided by the phases of the moon. It was an unpredictable voyage that led the author to an acute awareness of the environmental and cultural destruction caused by the continuing process of international colonization.

Angered by white tourists in an aboriginal concentration camp in central Australia. Heavily tattooed in Indonesia in the middle of a witch hunt against tattooed people. Trying to keep his big mouth shut at election time in Malaysia - where it's illegal to discuss politics in public. An international observer at peace talks between the EZLN and the mexican government in Chiapas. Back in England, where he was born, and trying to set up an international anarchist computer network. Visiting old friends in Basque Country and new ones in Barcelona. Pruning fruit trees on an organic farm in southern India. Losing his shoes overboard from a speedboat on the Mekong river in Laos.

A long, often difficult and usually apparently aimless journey, which led the author to a greater understanding of the patterns and rhythms that affect the earth and the lives of the people living on it.
